Combatente is a high-performance low-wing, V-tail autonomous aircraft powered by a Turbomachine jet engine. It weighs 150kg at maximum takeoff weight, designed for high flight speed with a modern navigation system. The aircraft is intended to replicate the most challenging air defence scenarios, including:
- Aircraft tactical threatening for defense readiness training
- Collect intelligence data to assess enemy air defense forces
- Air strikes or air-to-air combat training
- Simulation of enemy missiles
- Development and evaluation of defense weapons systems
Combatente can fill a variety of air-to-air and surface-to-air missions with a large operational envelope, offering unprecedented versatility, and providing the possibility to test various threatening scenarios with a flexible and affordable aerial targeting drone.
