Leveraging Battlefield Edge Networks

Fenix Group’s Battlefield Edge Networks are designed to support mission-critical services at the edge, mitigating reliance on satellite communications and higher echelon command data networks. By integrating multi-modal communications systems and edge computing into a single device, Fenix’s patented technology provides for highly available, secure, and survivable broadband edge networks. Deploying the Banshee Edge Network

The partnership leverages Fenix Group’s Banshee Tactical Radio (BTR) and Mobile Radio (BMR) to deliver fully independent, man-portable LTE and MANET edge networks for up to 800 end-user devices. With an integrated onboard computer, Banshee is configured to host our NSC3™ software, delivering advanced processing capabilities for applications and localized storage right at the tactical edge.
